Skylights And WIndow Cleaning
In window cleaning there are of course other types of windows, such as skylights. There are many different types of skylights and different sizes, this is one window type that my price varies on although I should probably just stick to the flat rate price right? I guess the reason I charge different prices is that I don’t clean skylights all the time with my San Diego Window Cleaning company. Most people don’t have them and of those who do, most don’t get them cleaned. So I range from $16 to $20 per skylight depending on the size.
Another type of window is the louvered window which I do not enjoy cleaning at all so I charge $16 for each of these but I have thought about raising my price. The problem with this type of window is that it is made of glass slats. I wash them by hand so it takes a long time to clean.
Perhaps one of the most common windows is the French pane window, which is something I run across all the time with my San Diego Window Cleaning business. This is a window where there are wood or metal dividers going across the window up and down and side to side breaking the window up into little square panes. Now days most windows have this in-between the two panes of glass but the windows that have this on the outside of the glass is a pain to clean. It involves a lot more work and time. I charge $12 to $15 dollars to clean these.
These window types make up the majority of all windows, if you come across some other kind of window not covered here simply apply the rules you decide to go by and you can come up with a pretty accurate price. Ultimately charge what you are willing to do the job for, you want to be happy with the price you are charging in comparison to the work you will be performing.
